2 problems; IE7 XP Pro

1.I cannot change my search preferences in Google, I get the message "Your
cookies seem to be disabled" and I can't re-enable them using the usual
Tools>Internet Options method.
Could this also be affecting AutoComplete? I keep losing a lot of my usual
sites.
2. Is there an adblocker built into IE7?
I want to view NZTV OnDemand but an opening ad never gets played so I never
get the TV prog. downloads.

Right pew, wrong church. Those with IE7- and/or IE8-specific questions or
comments can post to and seek support in IE General newsgroup:
