2 problems with combined Graph in Excel 2007

Dear all,
I've had those 2 little but annoying problems for quite a long time
while trying to create a graph for a business report. Any advice would
be very appreciated.

I try to report a value of an indicator over 3 different products in
time time together with the amount of money in those products. For
that, I use a combined graph: line for the indicator and stacked area
for the amount of money.
You can find an example at http://www.werewolf.wz.cz/chart_trouble.zip
..

First problem is, that the data series for the amounts are longer than
those for the indicator and I would like to display the longer ones
too. But excel cuts off what is longer than the shortest data series
and I can't see the end of the series.

Second, as some of the products started later, the indicators can't be
measured on them at the start. The corresponding data cells are
completely empty. The same stands for the points that correspond to
future data. In that case, I would like not to display the line for
the indicator in the corresponding data points. When I right click the
graph, I can find the option "select data > hidden and empty cells,
show empty cells as ..." There, I would like to check the option
"Gaps", which is greyed out. I think that the reason for that is that
the graph type is combined. When I temporarily convert all the data
series to line, I can check the option "Gaps" and then change the data
series back to stacked area. Unfortunately, this makes the area data
series show "infinity" instead of empty cell in the case of the future
data where all values are empty (if this is not cut off - see the 1st
problem).

Thanks for any suggestion!

Just to specify,
I use excel 2007. In the 2003 version, I didn't have this problem.
