I have done that with my desktop and laptop. I found out my email was also
in windows live mail and not in the folders I was storing mail that came to
my desktop but after I deleted all those emails on live mail I think I have
it working ok. I am using outlook 2007 on the desktop and outlook 2003 on
the laptop. charlie

If you amend the accounts on both to leave a copy on the server then both
will download mail.
If you want to see sent mail on both then a third party product, see
www.slipstick.com for various sync options, or if your mail provider
supports imap then perhaps use that
