1. is a an office validation kb949810
2. is for kb970653 which has to do with daylight savings time

Geeze Microsoft why can't you just put them all together on patch tuesday?
or at least put these out of sequence updates on a Monday instead of the
middle of the week?

It's a PITA , I know, Robin, these are called "out-of-band" releases so that you get maximum
protection as soon as possible and I give MS kudos for doing this more frequently.

I guess daylight savings time in Redmond ends this weekend.

I got the 653 one late yesterday. Was kind of surprised to see the shield. Oh
well, better protection I guess. JJ
