I have installed Defender Beta 2 on 12 workstations.
On 12 it seems pretty good but on 2 of them
they won't update to 1.4.
Windows Defender Version: 1.1.1051.0
Engine Version: 1.1.1185.0
Signature Version: 1.0.0.0
I have uninsatlled and reinstalled but get the same results.
When I open Beta2 uo it states Windows defender as not update in so many days.
I have gone thru the mS updates and it say it has been updated.
I have selected the help option to update, I have click the update option
and I still get the same results.
Is there a work around on this glitch?

On those two workstations, try the resolution steps in this KB article:

Then re-try updating--via Windows Update or within the program--whatever
works.
