2 high priority security updates

Broadcom Corporation - Modems - BCM V.92 56K Voicemodem
Microsoft Corporation - Video - NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420

I don't quite understand how the above could be security risks so I
haven't installed the windows updates for these. Can anyone shed some
light on them?

They might be updated drivers. They're not "high priority security updates".

I should have said "high priority" updates. They fall in the first
section of Windows Updates, not in the software updates or hardware
updates. For just drivers they seem to be placed in a rather important
section.
