If you do not intend to connect those PCs to the 'net, then
buying a crossover cable to connect the NICs of those PCs
together is the easiest way. (NIC = Network Interface Card
or Network Interface Chip).

If you also want to connect those PCs to the 'net, then I suggest
a router; see: http://home.comcast.net/~bobwbsgs/homenet.txt
