Powerquest has posted an update (bug fix) for V2i Desktop 2.0. The
update is version 2.1 . However, the file is huge (over 300 mb) and I
have not been able to get it to complete the download. Has anyone
else been able to get the update to download? The download is only
available for registered users.

Downloaded the 7.1 update version for DI with no problems. It comes with
the V2i update.

Yep I did, went fine without glitches. I recommend disabling any download
managers if you're using them. I needed the update for the know blue screen
problem related to the PQ [whatever] SYS file. They had a new version of
that sys-file on their FTP site but thwy took it off, I'd rather would have
that instead of a 300 Mb 'update'.

Inntially they didn't even offer the update as download but only as physical
shipment (with delivery costs of course).

I hate HUGE updates that probably only fix a couple of small thingies anyway
