I seem to have some version of this. The about:blank appears most often when
I am attempting to close an IE window. It seems to hang for a few seconds
then close. Sometimes it takes quite a bit of time to close. The page is
also blank. My Home Page has stayed the same and I have no problems opening
new windows. It just seems to be more annoying than malicious at this point.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to correct this? I am running IE
6 on XP. Thanks in advance for the help.

It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
