I am running Windows XP Home SP3 plus all of the latest updates.
When I power my pc on I get the normal large Windows logo after a 20 or so
seconds then the screen turn light blue and I intermittently see " 1sdelete
program not found-skipping autocheck " , that disappears and I get the
smaller windows logo as Windows XP loads but some times it loads all OK but
other times I get the desktop showing and I just see the egg timer and have
to power off and restart my PC when it loads all OK. I have checked for
Spyware and virus and Trojans but none are found.
Any suggestions please?

I installed Ad-Ware with your helpful suggests it has solved my problem.
