Hello all,

I am having an issue here with the sizes of my hard drives as they
appear in Windows XP. I know that my BIOS does support large drives
because I have had everything set up correctly before. I have three
hard drives, a 40GB IDE, 40GB SATA, and a 200GB drive partitioned into
2 drives, 40GB and 160GB. The large 160GB partition and my IDE 40GB
drive are appearing as 100MB total space each with 99.9MB free space
each. I have all sorts of data on all of my drives. I was wondering
if anyone would know what my problem is and/or how to try to fix it.

Thanks,
Kev

When you say "everything set up correctly before" do you mean it was all
done at the factory before despatching to you? If so then please
confirm whether you are using Maxtor HD.

Maxtor has a special utility to make XP recognise its drive fully and
correctly! Try this link to see if it solves the problem:

By everything set up correctly I mean it was set up correctly by me.
For the better part of a year it has been operating normally, and now
this is happening. No, the drives are not Maxtor drives they are
Seagate. Do you know if Seagate has such a utility?
