Have tried every possible way to modify XP Professional
in order to download Adobe Reader for PDF file reading
but continue to get error message. Now do I have to buy
Adobe Acrobat & spend the bucks to do this. Used to get
these files just fine with 98 SE. Help?

I have two programs which display windows error msg. 1606
is not among them. it must be an adobe message
