16 bit subsytem problem

I've been using Quicken(an older version) for a couple of
months and I just got a message the system file is not
suitable for running dos and windoews based programs...
anyway, I cant open the program now! its some kind of
autoexec.nt file problem...anyone got any ideas?

have the same problem seems to be since the last xp update there is an explan
on the forum about Autoexec.nt and Config.nt files and how to alter them to
solve this problem .But have read them and tried fo figure out what the hell
they are talking i even had a go but could't find the files they were talking
about in windows folder .if you find an idiots easy way or explain can you
tell me i will do the same .Cheers Tim

I'm having the same problem. I wish I had a fix, but nothing has worked so
far. We have tried everything we could think of and still we can't even play
the simplest games that we played a week ago just fine. If anyone can help,
I'd be totally grateful!

I read around and although I didn't try to fix it yet, this seems relevent
