I am running WindowsXP sp3.

About a week ago I started getting this error In a 16 bit msdos system window.
"The NTVDM CPU has encounterred a illegal instruction cs.0559:ffdeop:ffif 0906
Choose: Close or ignore to close the application"

I installed Registry Smart and ran a scan and got everything fixed.

What can I do to fix this error?

I forgot to add, at the beginning of this error is the following:
C/windows/system 32/software distribution32/mmc.exe.
