Hi Fezz,
Close all running programs. Locate ntvdm.exe and wowexec.exe in the
\Windows\System32 folder and delete them (one or both are probably corrupt).
Reboot the system. See if the problem goes away, as the files will be
replaced by ones from the system cache (System File Protection at work).
If you can't see the files in the system32 folder, it means your folder
options are not set to see hidden and system files. Go to the Control
Panel/Folder Options, and on the View tab, set the options so you can see
hidden and system files. Specifically:
Enable (check) "Display the contents of system folders"
Enable (check) "Show hidden files and folders"
Disable (uncheck): "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)"
I also recommend that you disable (uncheck) "hide extensions for known file
types".
