We have a third party 16 bit installer (done using wise) and for some
reason the fonts on it are too big and you can't see the whole screen.
This problem doesn't ocurr on regular XP Pro but it does ocurr on the XP
Pro Emulation XPE build.
Any ideas on what might be the problem?

The font issues have been discussed in this NG many times. You may want to seearch the NG archive:
http://groups.google.com/group/micro...n&lr=&ie=UTF-8.

Just as a quick start for you can:
Add all MS Serif fonts.
Add and setup OEM fonts (use sysfonts component from www.xpefiles.com)
Clean up [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes] key.
Use FontTracker component from www.xpefiles.com.
