I am having problems with Windows XP home and my 1394 SP2
Storage Device. When I use the drive it works in spurts.
I mean that it will start to quickly transfer data, then
stop, and eventualy start again, very random bursts. When
it stops neither my cpu or the drive is active. The
drives have been checked and optimized and it still
occurs. Any suggestions??

Windows XP Home
Pentium 3 1ghz
396ram
Hardare in question: Maxtor 60gb 1394 7200rpm
