Upgraded new Compaq Presario from XP HM to PRO and the 1394 is not
recognized. The device is a Lexar Flash Card Reader. Have connected the
device to a desktop and works fine and have used the cable with a Sony
camcorder on desktop which is also fine.

The host controller shows up but the reader is not recognized.
