Some motherboards are picky about busmastering devices like ide cards,
firewire cards etc. They may only work in only one slot combination with
your other cards or onboard devices. In this case, irq sharing is strictly
forbidden at the bios level. Windows, whatever version, can't handle this
by combining reassigning irq usage later in Windows.
