1394 Code 10 Error

I can no longer connect my Didgital Handycam to my
computer through the Firewire. It worked perfectly until
about three days ago. Now, when I look in the device
manager there is a yellow explanation point and when
check under propoerties it basically says this device
cannot start (Code 10). Ihave tried uninstalling and
reinstalling and nothing works. I have all over the
internet and most of what they suggest is way beyond my
understanding. Can anyone help???
