137 gig,arghh

I have windows 2000 running on a giabyte ga7vaxp latest
net bios, western digital 200 gig 7200rpm 8 mb.

service pack 4 reg update=enablebiglba

and still it only recognizes 137 gig ???????

please advise.......cheers greggo

What does Disk Management show?

137 gig should be the limit of the ide controler addressing values.
Asuming that the systems ide controler nd bios supports the neccesary 48 bit
adressing then follow the instructions in thr following article.
