I have a program I want to uninstall from a group of computers. I installed
it as an msi via Group Policy. When I try to uninstall I get:

Product: StuPgCnt -- Error 1306. Another application has exclusive access to
the file 'C:\WINNT\WindowsUpdate.log'. Please shut down all other
applications, then click Retry.

Any ideas how I could get around this?

Is there an option to ignore this? However I wonder why your setup tries to
delete that file. Are you installing it in the first place?

Hello

I've started to experience the same problem after we did our update in our
SMS environment to the latest windows installer 3.1 and also the latest SMS
advanced Client.

I get the issue when I try to install an application.
Anyone with some more info

//Markus
