well, last time I posted, I thought the problem was solved. simply
free up resources to 90% or more, make sure the Internet temp files
are cleaned out and things should print. unfortunately, my 1120C is
still bombing out. It'll print 5 or 6 pages and then just stop.
"Aborted by User" or "Mechanical Error" or other message is usually
displayed. This only happens when printing in normal mode. In draft
mode, things print out fine. But, of course, the resolution isn't
there.
Can i use other drives for this printer perhaps? Or is this a common
problem with the 1120c? After so many hours of service it just
becomes temperamental? I suspect a planned obsolescence built in by
HP.
