I have recently downloaded IE7. The grey bar at the bottom of the screen does
not appear( only found out about this bar from a friend). The bar apparently
says 100% & allows the uses to zoom in. Does anyone know how I can acquire
this bar?

You may want to ask in the internetexplorer group.

It's called the "Status Bar," and it won't appear unless you select the
option to display it. In IE7, click View > Status Bar. For other such
basic questions, try IE7's Help menu.
