Hi,

I'm looking for an antivirus solution for a system with about 100 client
machines running Windows 2000.

These machines are connected to the internet but are standalone, ie not
connected to a domain server at all, and won't be.

I have a machine that can be a central server for the antivirus updates so I
can see when the clients have been updated.

I know that Symantec Antivirus with liveupdate does this type of thing, and
also Sophos with Enterprise Manager and Remote Update.

Has anybody used any of these like this? Or are there any others?

Thanks

Ian

F-prot will do the job for you at a reasonable price
($2/machine/year).

Updates can be done individually over the net or from a local server -
your choice. They can be scheduled to happen overnight on systems
which are left on all the time and on power up for those that are
turned off.
