We installed a new small business 2003 server with 10 cal's
Connected client 1 and printed from the client in 2-3 sec.
Connected client 2 and printed from the client in 2-3 sec.
Connected client 3 and printed from the client in 12-13 sec....
Clients 1 and 2 also prints in 12-13 sec...
Disconnected client 3 but same result on client 1 and 2.
Printer is connected to the server with USB cabel and we have tried with LPT
cable with same result.
Printing from server directly has the same result. After a reboot of server
it prints in 2-3 sec but after a while connecting 3 or 4 clients (ordrer of
connection of clients comuter has no effect) the printer slows down.
If you look at the spooller cue you see that it "stops" counting kb arround
80% completed. Then it continues after about 10sec.
The spooler cue is exluded from the antivirus search and we even tried
uninstalling the antivirus, same result.
Running out of good ideas here..... anyone?
