10,000, 15,000 rpm drives these that much more noisy than 7200 ?

You might want to go over to <http://www.storagereview.com>. They don't
test for seek noise but they do for idle. In summary the quietest 7200 RPM
drives are quieter than the quietest 10,000 RPM drives but the quietest
10,000 RPM drives are quieter than run of the mill 7200 RPM drives.

I see so the quietest 10,000 RPm will still be nosiy compared to my
Barracuda IV

My cpu fan drowns out my HD.
