I have 2 questions on my WinXP Home...
1) My spouse & I share one email account & that's really
all we need. We have separate windows logins with admin
access. I had installed MS Office, then set-up MS Outlook
2000 on my login first. I checked the email & it works
fine.
Then I went into his login & Outlook wanted me to set it
up all over again, which sucked - but I did it. Well,
when I tried to get it to check the same (the only) email
acct with the exact same settings, it refused... Stating
that it couldn't find the server even though I had access
to the internet.
Is it possible to check 1 email acct on XP with separate
logins?
2) I had posted a week ago about my XP Home language
problem, but with no luck, so here's my next move...
We have Windows XP HOME -- but it's a Danish version cuz'
my spouse bought it when he lived overseas. (The windows,
pop-ups, start menu, everything is in Danish.) We can't
get it to show an English version of windows, and when we
did our research on the microsoft website (as well as
called tech support) - they said there was no way to
switch it to english, other than the keyboard &
time/regional settings.
So we're thinking of buying an WinXP PRO Upgrade version
in English, but we don't know if it'll overwrite the
Danish version or if it'll kill our computer from language
confusion. Any ideas??
