I've been task to get a general feeling of how well 1.1 and beta 2 work side
by side, both in production and development.

Any known issues with installing 1.1 framework and 2.0 framework side by
side in production?
So far I have 2.0 updates all web sites in IIS to work with the 2.0
framework and you'll have to switch them back.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, as well as any links that address
the above.

What about VS.net 2003 and VS 2005 Beta 2?
So far I have Uninstalling B2 to install the full release may be an
issue.

Hi wayne...

yes, installing both version side-by-side MAY be a issues because .net 2.0
is not yet released and MAY have some issues. Because Microsoft recommends
and states that you MAY need to format machine if Un-installation fails of
beta softwares.....

So I would suggest you restrain from using beta software in production
environment and have framework installed on some other machine or use VPC.

Fire a mail if u need any specific information

With best Regards

I agree that uninstalling may be an issue, but we really won't know that
till we need to remove the 2.0 beta framework and install the final release.
However, with the go live lic. my company is looking at developing a few 2.0
applications and releasing them before 2.0 is officially released. What I am
looking for is any issues anyone may have run into with 1.1 and 2.0
together, or vs2003 and vs2005 together.
