0x8024402c and C:\c\windowsDefender[1].msi missing

This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact
your product vendor. It looks like I screwed up big time on this one. Somehow
I deleted something in to do with Adobe Air now I get he C:\c\etc message
plus when I try to update or download Windows Defender I get the
installation package error message.
I just got my new sound card properly installed yesterday after about 12wks.
If I back-up one day will I still have my installation I just did yesterday?

0x8024402C WU_E_PT_WINHTTP_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED Same as
ERROR_WINHTTP_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED - the proxy server or target server name
cannot be resolved.

You may receive a "0x8024402C" error message when you scan for updates on
the Windows
