Hi,
i am getting this error "Windows Defender was unable to complete the
update: 0x8024002e" when i click on "check for updates" button
Any ideas welcome!

Suggest you check the ReportingEvents.log that's located in
WINDOWS\Software Distribution folder for an error message associated
with the last failed attempt to update WD. Scroll down towards the
bottom for the most recent entries. Please post back with any error code
that you find or the relevant section of the .log.

There is no record or error code about WD.
Last modified date of this file is eight of march.
