Thanks Ben. Any and all messages going out are effected. I called comcast who
doesn't support outlook and went thru the STMP server name addresses and
ports and passwords to no avail. I tried all the things reccommended in the
office help to no avail. i was wondering whether it was an issue with
something downloaded. the only thing close to the time I started having
problems was the java update. A search for java on my hard drive gives a list
of java related activities with dates and times and size and type except for
a bunch of "Java runtime environment 1.6.0" in "Windows\downloaded program
files" that have no other info associated with them. Is there any spyware or
other types of stealth programs that would cause this? I don't download
anything that isn't related to somethings I have, Microsoft, adobe , symantic
and don't don't cruise the internet. Thanks for your help.
