Hi All
My son-in-law wants a new laptop - the local retailer is offering a Sony VGN-NR11M/S for 499GBP with 12 months interest-free credit. I see that the RAM is only 1GB so would need to be upgraded to to 2GB (approx 30GBP). Is this the best buy for 500GBP?
Thanks in anticipation

Its a 1.46GHz CPU which ain't the greatest but for everyday basic use it will be fine....however I'm sure that there are others from Toshiba etc with a higher spec for around the same price.

For instance this one from Toshiba is a higher spec for £50 less, but with no interest free credit.
