About Us
PC Review consists of a team of dedicated individuals, from a variety of different computing backgrounds. We specialise in providing computing news and reviews which are honest and reliable to our readers. We have expertise in many areas of the IT industry, with knowledgeable experts in Hardware, Software, Design, Electronics, Engineering and Networking.
PC Review was originally started in early 1999 as one of the first UK Hardware/Software review sites around, receiving a large amount of visitors from the very first day (kick-started with a review of the highly acclaimed AMD Athlon 700). From late 1999 to mid 2001, some exclusive hardware previews and first glimpses of beta software were released, from a variety of permanent and guest writers. With the growing number of visitors, more community features were added, such as some very active forums, and highly successful competitions. In early 2001, the site evolved again into a more dynamic, database driven community with ever growing archives of reviews.
As of 2007, the forum community has grown substantially to provide one of the friendliest places on the net to discuss anything computer related. If you have any suggestions about the site, please contact the editor with your thoughts and ideas.
Want to join the team?
PC Review is always on the lookout for staff writers to join our team of dedicated enthusiasts.
